Active Medical Response was founded by Paula MacLean with the vision of creating an emergency medical service that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The attendants at Active Medical Response are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly.

Paula MacLean, EMR President
Paula MacLean is a registered EMR with the Alberta College of Paramedics and has an EMT background. She has many years experience in the oilfield sector on drilling rigs, service rigs, seismic, forestry and pipeline. She also has experience working in the hospital and on municipal ambulances.

Dr. Lewis Medical Director We are excited that Dr. Lewis, a very well known and respected physician has joined our team as Medical Director. Dr. Lewis has impressive credentials. In addition to his emergency medical services background, family practice, and continuing work in the hospital's emergency department, Dr. Lewis has been a Chief of Staff at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital. Dr. Lewis is also the Medical Director for the Peace Country Health EMS and Grande Prairie EMS. |
